Course topics include reasons for conducting accident investigations, employer responsibilities related to workplace accident investigations, and a six-step accident investigation procedure. Step 1: Assess the Injury, Step 2: Obtain Medical Treatment if Necessary, Step 3: Interview Injured Employee and Witness, Step 4: Observe Accident Scene and Analyze the Facts, Step 5: File a Workers' Compensation Claim, Step 6: Follow Up, and Step 7: Corrective Action. |
